Delivery Lead - A Leading AI-Powered Fintech Saas Startup - Bengaluru

Job Summary: A leading AI SaaS Startup is keen to hire a Delivery Lead with strong US accounting experience to manage US multi-unit clients, oversee month-end closures, reconcile the financials to ensure accuracy in deliverables. And also build strong relations with CFOs, finance controllers by handling a team.

About the Organization: An AI-powered fintech SaaS platform that automates and simplifies back-office operations for multi-entity and multi-location businesses. The platform uses intelligent AI agents to streamline accounting, compliance, contract administration, and financial workflows, with oversight from verified human experts to deliver accuracy and operational reliability.

Location: Indira Nagar, Bengaluru

Designation: Delivery Lead

Key Responsibilities: 

• Month-end close across multi-entity, multi-location client structures — from reconciliations through financial statement delivery, with a hard SLA on close timelines
• Client relationships — running recurring calls with US-based owners, controllers, and CFOs; handling escalations; setting expectations and holding the line on them
• Review and quality — signing off on the financials prepared by the team and being accountable for what goes out the door to clients
• AP, revenue, and reconciliation workflows — full accountability on all accounting workflows end-to-end
• Onboarding new clients — mapping their chart of accounts, entity structure, and systems into our platform, and getting them to a clean first close
• Process design — turning what you learn on live engagements into SOPs, and telling our product team where the automation is falling short
• Team management — leading a team of 10+ accountants against monthly deliverables

Candidate Profile:

Must have 

• 3+ years in US accounting — bookkeeping, month-end close, and financial reporting under US GAAP
• Hands-on ownership of multiple client entities, not single-company work
• Comfort with at least one of QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct
• Genuine client-facing experience with US stakeholders — you've run the call, not just prepared for it
• Strong AP, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, and depreciation & amortization fundamentals, including multi-entity and intercompany
• Comfort working with data and tooling — willingness to work inside software that changes every few weeks

Preferred 

• CPA (US), CMA (US), CA, Graduate or Post Graduate
• Experience with franchise, restaurant, retail, or hospitality clients — multi-location P&Ls, unit economics, revenue ingestion from POS systems
• Experience reviewing or leading a team of at least 10 members

Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in Finance Related Field

Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in US accounting

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Interview Process: Technical round + F2F meeting
