Job Summary: A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated and diligent Associate to join our Litigation team. The ideal candidate should have 2 – 4 years of post-qualification experience and possess strong advocacy, drafting, and legal research skills. The role offers the opportunity to work on diverse matters before various courts and tribunals while assisting senior counsel in complex litigation.

About the Organization: Our client is a well-established law firm with a distinguished practice in civil, commercial, real estate, arbitration, and criminal law across various judicial and quasi-judicial forums. The firm is known for its team of experienced legal professionals, which is committed to delivering strategic legal advice and effective representation across a broad spectrum of litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Location: Cunningham Road, Bengaluru

Designation: Associate – Litigation

Key Responsibilities:

• Appear before Civil Courts, District Courts, the High Court of Karnataka, arbitral tribunals, and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
• Draft petitions, affidavits, applications, legal notices, written statements, pleadings, and legal submissions
• Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs, legal opinions, and supporting documentation
• Assist senior advocates in hearings, arguments, and litigation strategy
• Manage end-to-end litigation matters, including filings, court documentation, hearings, and follow-ups

Candidate Profile:

• 5-year integrated LL.B. degree from a recognized university and enrollment with the Bar Council.
• 2–4 years of post-qualification litigation experience
• Fluency in English and Kannada is mandatory
• Experience handling matters independently and assisting a senior advocate.
• Exposure to civil, arbitration, and criminal laws, with the ability to handle matters across these practice areas.
• Strong drafting skills, legal research and analytical abilities
• Sound understanding of civil procedure, court practice, filing processes, and litigation management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Strong communication, client interaction, and interpersonal skills
• Experience appearing before the High Court of Karnataka, trial courts, and other judicial forums.

Qualification: 5-Year Integrated Law Degree (B.A. LL.B., BBA LL.B., B.Com LL.B., or equivalent) with enrollment under the Karnataka State Bar Council.

PQE: 2 – 4 years

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (except second Saturday)

Working Hours: 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
