Job Summary: A leading alternative asset Manager and real estate developer company, is keen to hire a Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant / Chartered Accountant for the Associate designation who will be responsible for Indirect tax compliances, GST, tax audits and maintaining reconciliation between books and GST returns.

Designation: Associate

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handling GST compliance including computation, preparation and filing of returns.
• Handling ITC reconciliation and managing correspondences with relevant stakeholders.
• Analyzing input tax credit eligibility on various procurements as part of PO approval and GST compliance process.
• Maintaining reconciliation between books and GST returns and relevant tax ledgers.
• Facilitate GST audits and assessments by tax authorities by carrying out technical research, drafting submissions, and representation before tax authorities.
• Support internal functions in handling business queries.
• Interaction with consultants on various tax compliance and litigation activities.
• Assist in GST related advisory and research. 
• Working knowledge of direct tax laws including withholding taxes and computation of income.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of GST laws, compliance procedures, and return filing requirements.
• Proficiency in ITC reconciliation, tax ledger maintenance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Candidate having strong analytical skills and hands on experience with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills.

Education: Semi qualified Chartered Accountant / Chartered Accountant

Experience: Semi qualified Chartered Accountant with 4+ years / Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years in GST compliance, audits.

Work type: Work from office 

Work schedule: Monday – Friday (Alternate Saturdays Half day working)
