Finance Executive - A Growing Casualwear Startup- Bengaluru 

Job Summary: A growing casualwear startup is keen to hire a Finance Executive with 3-5 years of relevant experience to handle day-to-day accounting, reconciliations and statutory compliance, manage bookkeeping, AP/AR, GST/TDS support and marketplace settlement reconciliations, and support month-end closing and audits.

About the company: Our client is a fast-growing casualwear startup brand based in Bengaluru, building contemporary everyday fashion for a young, style-conscious audience, selling across its own website and major marketplaces.

Location: Vasanth Nagar, Bengaluru

Designation: Finance Executive

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Accounting & Bookkeeping - Record daily transactions, maintain ledgers, pass journal entries and ensure accurate documentation of expenses and receipts.
• Bank & Ledger Reconciliation - Perform bank, vendor, customer and payment gateway reconciliations; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable - Process vendor invoices, track payments and collections, and maintain outstanding balances.
• GST & TDS Compliance - Assist with GST and TDS calculations, reconciliations, return preparation and timely statutory filings.
• E-commerce Transactions - Reconcile marketplace or website settlements, refunds, discounts and related charges, where applicable.
• Financial Reporting & Audit Support - Assist with month-end closing, MIS reports, expense tracking and documentation for audits.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping and reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books and MS Excel.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams and meet reporting deadlines.
• Candidates from, apparel, e-commerce or D2C businesses preferred.

Education: B.Com, BBA (Finance), M.Com or equivalent graduate qualification.

Experience: 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
